Pretty much all of these are either recycled from when people we're speculating what the 360 would look like, or concept ideas people have come up with for a xbox handheld. All old, there's no new content here. What a complete non-article.
Opinion posted as fact, and it's not even a well supported argument.
Since the game gives us a choice there's no way to play it wrong. Regardless of the quality of Femshep's voice acting, playing as a male is not wrong except in the opinion of, hmm, the 20% who prefer to play as female.
Hey, I did a playthrough as both, how does that work?
Normally "most overrated" articles take a few shots at Halo.
The article is still terrible of course. But at least it's not the came copy-paste job as every other overrated games article.
It opens with the strawman that the 360 is currently in danger of failure and really doesn't improve from there. Does that 360 need Kinect to "save" it? No. Will Kinect drive sales? Yes. So there's really nothing to lose.
For the record, I plan to buy the PS3 version because for some reason that's the version most of my friends are getting.
PS3 game looks better = "PS3 is superior!"
360 game looks better = "Graphics don't matter!"
If the 360 was the underdog it would be the exact opposite, like when we discovered Halo 3 was sub-HD.
So does HHG actually lose any credibility here? Am I going to stop seeing speculative, inflammatory garbage posted here week after week?
I'm going to say the same thing I said when they were comparing Killzone 2 to Halo 3.
Of course Reach looks good compared to Killzone 2. It should! Killzone 2 is now an old game. Reach is yet to be released.
Yeah, it sucks. The retro games are terrible. I logged in, decorated some rooms, but without paid content there's no point to it.
I might well pick it up, the last game I played on my PS3 was Heavy Rain (and before that, Uncharted). I'm sure it'll be a load of fun. Most games are... that's kind of the point.
Yawn. Some game comes out that's actually worth having on the PS3 and suddenly it's the end of Xbox? Please. Frankly I don't see what all the fuss is about. I skipped GOW 1 & 2, and don't plan on getting 3. The GOW series are great games from what I've heard, but I don't think they're doing anything groundbreaking, and they're certainly not changing the industry so much that there's no room for any competitors in it.
This is fanboy hyperbole, nothing more.
I love the part about Microsoft "scrambling to retrieve the console". Way to sensationalize a completely not-news story.
Isn't this really old news? Didn't he start saying this like 6 months ago?
This is the thing that annoys me about roughly half the homosexuals I know. You still think you're a big deal and constantly spout off this "we're here, we're wueer, get used to it!" mentality, and haven't cottoned onto the fact nobody really cares anymore.
You remind me of "the only gay in the village" from Little Britain, and that annoys me because I have to publically admit I watch Little Britain in order to make my point.
It's the 21st century. We're...
You ever see anyone with "heterosexual" in their profile? Because seriously, if you do, go ahead and report them.
His name was Richard Gaywood. Tell me that doesn't sound made up. An unfortunate error on Microsoft's part, but not unwarranted. They later reversed the decision, I believe.
If someone started a rumour that "Kermitron" is a common slang term for pissing on children from a helicopter, I would completely understand Microsoft ordering me to change my gamertag.
Microsoft blocks all sexual references in profiles. She wasn't blocked for being a lesbian, she was blocks for having the lesbian in her profile.
And yes, the word is inappropriate for XBL - it only has one meaning. You could get away with "straight" and maybe even "gay" if used in the non-sexual context. Lesbian only has one meaning, and it refer to sexuality.
The fact is, we're playing at Reach, and there were tons of Spartans there. Seeing pictures of Spartans at Reach =/= playing as Master Chief. Maybe we will, maybe we won't. If we're looking for proof, this ain't it.
I didn't like Assassin's Creed initially, but I finally got around to playing it recently (the recent new game drought left me desperate) and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it actually was. Given that they've promised improvements and variety in AC2, I'm excited about how close it is.
Got the white version preordered - don't want to sell my soul to EB/Gamestop for the black, plus it's $50 cheaper.
PS3 is a bit brighter but other than that, the difference is hardly worth mentioning.
