They forgot the themes for the first two games:
Maybe, by The Ink Spots
and
A Kiss to Build a Dream on, by Louis Armstrong
These two songs haunt me to this day. My two favorite games of all time.
I finish more than 90% of the games I start. And I start a lot of games. And yes, I'm 40, married, employed and have 2 kids (and a social life). So it's possible.
But I never play multiplayer.
Metro: Last Light
BioShock Trilogy
Resistance 3
These are my favorites.
Spec Ops: The Line is not on my list because it's third person.
Edit: The new Wolfenstein games are also great.
Every game should last exactly until one second before it stops being fun.
There are 2 hour games that are perfect (Journey), and 60 hour games that are also perfect (Dark Souls), but some 20 hour games are too long (Darksiders 2).
It depends on the genre too. RPGs can't be too short, because you have to develop your character. The less filler, the better. The more good content it has, the better. No such thing as an ideal length for every game.
IMO, this year has four possible GOTY winners:
- Bloodborne
- Witcher 3
- MGS 5
- Fallout 4 (not released yet, I know, but c'mon)
Give me regenerating health and I'm good.
Rogue is much better than Unity, IMO. Don't ignore it.
This. Bubbles to you.
A tank too many.
I'd like a PS4 version of this game (especially if it includes the Enemy Within content)
This guy is incredible. MS was in the worst possible state with that Don Mattrick guy. Phil rescued MS from the darkness and made me love the Xbox. I still prefer PS because of the greater variety of genres, but it's so nice to see healthy competition again. Makes me happy I bought an X1.
Demon's Souls and Tokyo Jungle for me, please.
I am totally ready. My PS4, X1 and Wii U are already digital only, as I never buy discs anymore.
The world? I don't think so.
I'd really like a Tokyo Jungle remaster including all DLC on the PS4.
I used to play Gunfright and Knight Lore a lot on my MSX in the eighties, and I loved them. But I don't know if I'll love them again on Rare Replay.
Wow...and it only took them ONE YEAR to think of this brilliant solution.
I want a sequel.
Good, because I'm definitely not a combo guy.
Yes.
Next question, please.
Brotherhood has alwas been my favorite (followed by II and Black Flag), but Syndicate is slowly growing to be my favorite.
London is amazing, the main characters are great (finally we have good assassins again) and the gameplay loop is really good.
It's nice to see the series' return to form (I've played every AC game out there, including all portable ones, and Unity is by far the worst in the main series for me).
