I'm playing it right now on my Vita. Really love it so far!
It's not necessary, it's ESSENTIAL. Without it, the game wouldn't have the same impact.

Although Ridiculous Fishing is a fun game, it's in no way, shape of form better than (or as good as) Bioshock, God of War or Gears of War. It doesn't even want to be. Reviewers get crazy sometimes.

I hope they are similar. It's good for everyone.
If your console is the weakest, you get poor ports, or no ports at all.
If your console is the strongest, it gets held back by the weaker console, and all multiplat games suffer.
