-Sigh-
Well, personally I love the Wii U's controller since it's the best for shooters so with that said I'll be getting it. Ironic that pre-orders aren't so hot with the XBO and PS4 since FPSs are the staple of more mainstream consoles.
You clearly haven't been paying attention because they're getting third-party support up the ass. The year after each system's launch period is always weak. The 360 and PS3 didn't offer much that swayed me into buying one initially. It wasn't until Halo 3 came out for the 360 and MGS4 came out for the PS3 that I even wanted to get either system. I have a Wii U now because it's the only system left that has an active multi-player base for Mass Effect 3.
The thing about Nintendo is that they've never left any demographic of their consumers behind.
Because Sony and Microsoft are so fixated on doling out games with obscenely-realistic graphics, consequently they're leaving behind a large group of people who cannot afford to get their hands on the equipment they need to be able to enjoy it as they should. This 4K resolution that the XBO and the PS4 are going to start using will require a TV that is larger than 50" t...
Eh...Sony's IPs are ripped on by Microsoft's IPs. Sony was throwing them a bone by letting Insomniac develop some games for the XBO. If you ask me, though, I haven't enjoyed anything from Insomniac after Spyro.
Besides, the only game by Naughty Dog I EVER got into AFTER Crash Bandicoot was The Last of Us. I tried playing Uncharted and I was bored to tears. LittleBigPlanet wasn't all that good either. I mean, I could play it until the end but I didn't care ...
Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and take the word of a guy who's pretending he's smoking a carrot. ;D
I had both...until I had to sell both to get my Wii U. Ha ha ha.
I'll think of some use for it in the future. For now I'm just...meh about it. Good for Sony, good for new consumers who're into this kind of thing. I'll just wait for the next best thing. No need to bash on any innovative slight that The Big Three put out every once in awhile.
