This story has been up for 5 hrs and I’m the first 1 to comment on this page. Starfield is dead. I think making it a Xbox exclusive killed Starfield. The majority of gamers is on PS. This is not a console war comment just reality. I was really hope Starfield be that game to juice up the console war. Unlike other people I admit it I love the wars that’s why I’m on N4G 100x a day.

We wouldn’t know if it benefited until the console sales numbers for September come out next month. How many people you think jumped shop for gamepass?
Only way this happen if they Port the game on PS5. Gamepass not only would have to pay Bethesda but also all the other publishers on the monthly platform.
Why would they go get a license for T-1000 when they could hav given us Krome?

That’s in revenue not gross income. Also 230 million divided by a $10 subscription is 23 mil Subcribers. Somebody lying somewhere. Also the way M$ raised the price of the Sub out of nowhere and dropped the $1 gamepass deal means they are not making as much as you would think.

The 9 out of 10 comes from Xbox players having a new game to play after a record horrible drought. If you drink only water for 3 years a new green tea will be the greatest drink ever. PS fans are sipping on different kind of Sodas so we looking at XBox fans like whatever.
I honestly thinks it was originally planned to be a PS exclusive because Bethesda didn’t want to deal with the parity on the Series S/X. I think that’s why deathloop and ghostwire was exclusive and Starfield was originally supposed to come out 2 yrs ago. When they got purchased they had no choice but to release on all Xbox platforms.
Starfield not releasing on PS didn’t work at all. Xbox players are not buying or even playing it. PS was a stronger market for Bethesda. How many people do you really think bought a Xbox for starfield? I want Starfield to be a success so PS can get off their high horse.

It doesn’t matter what a reviewer scored the game. Do you really in your mind believe SF is a better game then Spider-Man or Ghost? If you do then it deserve the score it got and I’ll be fine playing Spider-Man 2 in a few weeks and impatiently waiting on ghost 2.
This is not what we wanted when we asked for Xbox VR.
