If some feel so compelled to play this game and don't want to fork over the $$$ for an XB1, here is what you should do.
Buy a used XB1 and a used copy of the game, all from GameStop. Take them home and beat it with in 7 days (last game only took 4 days, if that.). Return both to GameStop in that 7 day time, show your receipt, and get your $$$ back.
You played the game, you didn't end up having to keep the XB1, and you got all of your $$$ back.
If you truly do believe that, then you do not know the History of MS and their lies. You really REALLY should do your homework.
I have been using computers since Win 3.1 and over those years, I have seen MS do a ton of nasty s**t, and lie over and over again to the consumer. Killzone 1,2,3 (with KZ1 being completely rebuilt from the ground up like what they did with Oddworld new & tasty. That way it would be like having a new game).

@EinRobot, I had noticed a trend here on n4g with articles like this. They are flooding the site and are also getting approved by the community. To be honest I posted this totally expecting it to get killed, but instead it was approved (to my surprise)in less than 5 minuets. It is rather a foolish PR stunt when you think about it.
The XB1 is doing bad in sales already, So, why hamper the sales even more by announcing that they are already working on a new one (even though both Sony and MS started working on them quite a while ago)? Consumers who have not bought an XB1 and see a story like this will make them think "Why should I get an XB1 when they might be coming out with a new one? Ill wait."

MS has to do something because the sales for the XB1 are bad, pure and simple. They are not listening to the customers, they are listening to the board, like they always have.
