Yeah, that HUGE warning on the Steam Page kind of makes people think twice if they are looking for a finished project.
There is always disappointment in development (see the Arkham Knight delay for details) but still it shows a path and priorities. Something that seems to be missing from a good bit of Steam Greenlight projects nowadays.
I like it when developers actually have a plan and post it for its fanbase. The game has a lot of potential but still needs some polish.
Music makes or breaks immersion in a game. Seeing as this game is all about giving you that feeling of actually being in the game's world - good music is so important. The sampled music in the article certainly creates a mood just by listening to it.
Glad to see that aspect covered.
A good read. Looking forward to seeing how the whole CBC thing pans out.
New patch has added AI bots back into the game so to be honest, I am not sure if it is still local multi or not. Been too busy throwing down the hammer.
This game is on my must play list. Seems to come with a good rep and overall, the game looks great. It will be a nice change of pace from from the game I have been playing as of late - Gang Beasts. :D
I would almost say that the 80s were the golden age of sci fi.
Enhance 224 to 176
80's Sci-Fi? XCOM? RPG? Only thing that seems to be missing is Darryl Hannah doing back flips while dressed as a toy. Work her in there somehow and you have yourself a lifelong fan. :D
A mobile port by Derek Smart - all the ingredients for sure fire craptastic gaming.
Wow, sounds like a typical Derek Smart game. This time, a mobile port.
Hell, I spent $15 on steam the other day for just one game. 30+ games probably would have been the better investment for time killing.
Stuff like this sometimes yields a diamond in the rough. In this case, could be several diamonds.
Double Dragon and River City Ransom... now those are some names I haven't heard from in a long time. Spent many an hour in the arcade jump kicking my way through levels.
I can't remember an MMO in recent history that has managed to come back from a shaky launch. Well, not so much the launch but rather the months that followed it.
Word is that the game is actually getting better in terms of content. I wonder though if it is already too late.
If it is new gear - chances are, it is going into the cash shop.
Guild Wars 2 needs to shake things up. Seriously.
Learning curve? More like a Learning Vertical line. Still glad it keeps on keeping on.
