Doesn't really apply to Nintendo very often, but people have the option of waiting for a sale. It also tells them we won't put up with these prices.

Xbox, Nintendo, and Playstation all want our money. We'll see more Xbox games on Playstation and Nintendo. Playstation Games on Xbox and Nintendo. One day Nintendo will do the same. Why didn't Nintendo and Sony work out? Money! Sony wasn't going to give Nintendo a dime. Nintendo canceled the deal. They should all work together on one console. It'll probably never happen. There is no way Sony or Nintendo are going to let Game Pass live on their machines. Xbox isn't going to be able to grow Game Pass like they want if they 3rd party their games to competitors. I hope everyone is wrong about Xbox going third party. In the end none of them care about us. They just want our money.

Nintendo has done great things with Mario Kart 8 on Switch. After horrible Wii U sales the port has become the biggest and best Mario Kart to date.
Sony has bought other game companies. They tried to screw Nintendo. They pay companies to stay away from Gamepass. Sony isn't innocent in all this. They tried to block the deal just because.
