Okay, Imma start marking people as "Off topic" when they come on a CoD article and talk about how battlefield is better, because people who are going to buy call of duty don't give a shit and don't want to be pestered by your troll comments that are obviously a ploy to exercise your elitism.
If you're not gonna buy it, why care?
Lol, my bad, cousin.
I hated Roman from GTA. Guy was just a total slimeball who was very lucky to be the protagonist's brother because if he wasn't, he'd have died a lot earlier than he did.
Well, I was watching my buddy play WoW one day where he did a raid and this guy said "ok, I'm AFK."
After about 15 minutes, they decided to keep going without him. When they beat an enemy the guy that was "AFK" rolled the dice for an item that he didn't help earn because he was supposed to be away.
Now, I haven't played an MMO before but I think the reason raiding is getting less popular is because you have to rely on other peo...
Neither. It'll just make them more money. That's the general idea, I'm sure.
So it'll have 3D? They're starting to push that? bit late to the party...
Well if someone else were to make a space shooter RPG, then they'd never hear the end of it. People would be in an uproar, much like they were with the uncharted clone. That's not the kind of attention a game developer wants.
They don't want to be seen as a total cash-in company and they want to make their own market by providing original experiences.
Having seen the saint's row 3 trailer I recently bought saint's row 2 and didn't regret it. Especially since I got it for much cheapness.
That said, I still think the best open-world action game ever was GTA: San Andreas. And I think we have to go a long way before anything can top it.
Well, yeah, but I was just having a little shot at people who criticise people's intelligence for playing or not playing a video game.
Just seems like everywhere you go CoD players are getting rooted out like they're the scum of the earth. It seems like a very one-sided argument.
Demon's souls a hidden gem? The game sold about half a million copies. That's quite a feat for a new IP and an action RPG at that.
I'm not interested in battlefield. There, I dared to say it on n4g. I imagine everyone will come on and tell me in a flaming rage why my opinion is wrong.
****Runs for cover****
I agree, demos for open world games tend to be a bit like that. Especially if a key focus of the game is character development. No one is gonna want to create a character just to play a half hour long demo.
Plus it'd have boundaries everywhere saying "if you want to go over here, buy the full game".
Everyone who wants the game knows what it's about and the only way to get new people into the game is by trailers, reviews and word of mouth. A demo woul...
I'm 18 and still play pokemon. I think they need to do something really different with the next instalment. ie. a bigger world and maybe lose the top-down view and go for proper 3D visuals. They could also throw in a character customisation at the start, considering the player will be stuck with the character for at least 60 hours, if not 100+ hours if you're an enthusiast.
I don't know how many times I tried turning it back on again. It was like I was using defibrillators trying to bring it back to life. I was like NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
But I might try it again, just in case. I may be able to grab some of my old save files off it.
Well, my fat 60GB PS3 YLOD'd and I simply bought another one. It was my own fault, I had it in an unventilated area (it tells you that it needs to be well-ventilated in the instruction manual. But I still got 3 years out of it.
By not costing much, do you mean twice the price of a PC, if you want to play say crysis 2, for example? (I'm picking a game that is recent, because obviously you'll want to play recent games). You know? That's 200 quid I could be spending on more games or booze.
Unless you can find a rig that costs the same as or less than a PS3 and can still play all the latest games on high resolution, then I can't justify it as an option. If I can save money by doing somet...
Now, I play some games on my PC. But just a little. I do not have a "gaming" PC.
The reason I don't buy into this whole "PCs have better graphics" statement is because you have to spend a lot of money to get your computer to run the amazing graphics on games at 60 frames per second. It's also quite a bit of technical work to do the upgrading (assuming it's not already built into your state of the art alienware PC, priced at around £1000/$1...
Sorry, I'm easily annoyed lol.
Oh god, please no!!
