Well, I haven't bought a game since the 09 season. So, it's a big leap from then..
But, I really hope that they improve the Franchise mode, 09's was kinda bullshit.
There is still so much and a helluva lot more that they could add to it, make it better.
I'm thinking about buyin this from Amazon, that comes with their ($20?) credit.
So, with that extra credit from Amazon, it makes this a little easier and worth it to buy.
As TomInc said, it's so you don't see the same characters time and again.
It's just another (visual) way to identify your team other than by name.
And, it also helps, I think, for if you have a crappy teammate, lol.
You can see what he looks like, so when you see him you can run away! :P
Or, for an enemy who always kills you. You see him, take a different route.
I think it's a much easier way to go about things than just reading names. ...
Sure, it's possible. It's really not that hard for it to be possible, honestly.
I suck at math, but, think .. if you have five options to change; eyes, hair, ect.
With each of those five options having another 10 options to choose from..
Iduno how many combinations that is, but I can tell you, it's a shit load.

Square could be the ones solely doing the commercial TV ads.
Where as with XBL, I find it hard to believe MS would allow PS3 footage.

The only question I have for you (ps3) people complaining about swapping of the discs ..
How is it any different than when you play MGS4 and have to install for every chapter?
You know, other than the fact that the installs take longer than swapping a disc.
Seriously, though, honest question. I would like for a straight forward answer.
Swapping of a disc takes less than 10 seconds if you leave the discs accessible ..

Although, with that said, I still want and can't wait for proper Assassins Creed 3.
I always prefer to play with a friend on games, however ..
I do buy games first and foremost for their single player.
So, yes, I sure do love my single player campaigns, fer sure.
Lol, you obviously didn't play Assassins Creed like an Assassin.
You can kill pretty much anyone and everyone you want, silently.
There are certain missions, yes, that guards are always alerted..
But, for the most part, if you play sneaky .. you will be sneaky.
An Assassin doesn't need to be quiet to be an Assassin, though..?
Maybe, try playing as an Assassin and not playing as Rambo? Ha. :P
Don't forget the new Ghost Recon, as well.
