Agreed. Sick and tired with dark, gray tone spectrum so common in FPS titles recently released.
BRINK! And it kicks ass. Finis'.
While I've been eagerly waiting for the Spring release of Brink ever since the flop that is the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops, I opt for giving Splash Damage all the time they need to release a well tested and platform efficient title.
Really looking to see fresh, innovative, new gameplay breathed into the FPS genre.
THANK YOU! The logical voice of reason.
No, the Call of Duty series has gladly taken the position of most major flop nominated for GOTY. ;)
But YES, GT5 is close behind.
And Here's hoping that Star Wars: The Old Republic is that very ticket.
It's done. It's over. KAPUT!
This is one title many of us at SemperCog have been looking forward to, hoping it brings a fresh, unique approach to many traditionally stereotypical MMO experiences.
Absolutely love the new artwork and talent involved, as well as greatly anticipating the Dec. 7th release of Cataclysm!
As a matter of fact...
Currently in ranked servers there is no way to take out the mandatory kick for TK's. It's frustrating to be in your own, purchased server and get kicked for too many TK's, getting temp banned for nearly 5 minutes.
They care about their product. Enough to communicate and stay close to their customer base...in much the same fashion that developers at one time did.
And THAT'S where it boils down to. Activision as a whole has completely taken out any form of innovation or unique changes in gameplay and instead replaced them with "drones" of developers that are hell bent on the "bottom-line".
The humorous anecdotes included in the update notes really helps connect the consumer with the developer, making for a more personal and efficient product support structure.
A very insightful comparison.
It's a sad, yet true state of the current CoD franchise as the signs of initial demise begin to show themselves.
Couldn't agree with you more.
Three weeks out from a major release is unacceptable for having a stable and enjoyable gaming experience for the majority of consumers.
Picked up the Lil' Ragnaros for myself
We can only hope! Like noted, it could be that they are filling the need of artists and programmers to further speed post-production and testing.
