Previous reports said that although it will be released on Steam first, a port to PS4 was going to follow soon after.
I would love to see it on PS4 personally. I could care less about graphics if it lives up to its hype in terms of RPG-like characteristics. That being said, i will be playing it on Steam until i see it out for PS4 someday.
I like this article. Reason being, as other posters have mentioned, is the emphasis everyone put on mobile gaming and how it was going to change everything. No need for consoles anymore right? Then, come 1-2 years later with the release of the Xbox One and PS4 and they are outselling the last generation at this point in their lifecycle.

PS3 20GB and 60GB models have 5400 rpm hard drives... thats why it takes forever to install game data to it.

Old materials? You may want to look into that first because I can put money on it that the same "materials" were used in both the slim and the fat, just that they were used in a different, more efficient manner. All components are still made from the same "materials".

Why are you connecting via your router? When you do a USB connection between your PS3 and PSP in order to register it for remote play, it creates a Private Network called "PLAYSTATION3(R)" which you can use to connect directly to the PS3 without going through any other device. It works very well try it out!

The gap IS NOT getting larger, it has been lately because of price drop. But before that the PS3 was outselling Xbox overall. The gap was getting smaller. With a price drop in PS3 it will be game over for M$ IMO. Not a fanboy, just stating my observations on the matter.
