not gonna comment on the 360 slim or 720, but as for the handheld, why should they? nintendo has like 60% of the market and sony 30%. i' m pretty sure microsoft will launch one, when the sony platform proves that it can go head to head with the ds. why? because then they're gonna want a piece of the pie. until then it will all be just a waste of money. remember kids, don't play with the nintendo giant.
most of the times i don't even see it. like in let's say mgs4 it's hard not to spot that everyone uses a sony-ericsson cellphone, pc's are mac's but they're not exactly saying "PRODUCT X AVAILABLE NOW IN STORES". it's there but u just kinda notice it, no big deal. as poster 2 stated if it's a game where ur playing in a large city (ya know kinda life-like) it's cool movie ads and such, most of the time i don't even notice that but fantasy games shouldn't have them.
why the surprise? ofc the casual crowd won't like this, as crab said kojima stated it's for the fans. you know what? the fans don't give a sh*t about casual reviews or even "hardcore?" reviews. they're gonna play it anyway.
