Let me ask you this simple question, lets say Konami has diceied to make the next MGS? do you reall think it will consume the same amount of time?same cost? Hell NO!
Even Xbox games,,Take the 1st Gears of War for example, how long did it take develop on the Xbox??? now compare it with the second one?? so dont start with the (Cell is the Problem crap) that gose to any new tech in the market..
Well that is exactly my point ,,look how cell cost devolpers time and money,,but 1-2years from now Cell codes will be in hands and making the second game (e.g MGS5,FF14,,,etc) will be much easer right?
i didn't say Cell is easy to develop on,, but that is the case with any new tech it takes time and money which is something I'm not ready to experience again (cost and wait). Give the PS3 it's live let the games flow, and for MS sorry but im not gona spend any more $$ on console...
actually it should hurt the Xbox fans more, abandoning 360 like brfore! as a PS3 onwner i tell you that im pretty happy with my PS for more years to come :)
Who crare.. we don't need any new console(s) for like 6years from now, just playing stupid to release a new console anytime soon. If MS did drop the new Xbox,the price gona be something like $300-400 at least while the PS3's price will be in the 200 range with many games by then yah?as for devolpers they will be more comfortable with developing on Cell.Its easer, cheaper and more beneficial to make games such as MGS5, FF14, GoW4, GTA6, RE6..etc
