So what about all the other years were PSN has topped Xbox live? They suddenly doesn't exists just because the offering of one month of Xbox live is good?

This is just a rumor and not official information so I don't even know with what exactly should I be "ok" with.
This is not real until Sony makes it official. They can easily just be viewing the viability of it or investigating the possibilities.
Saying right now "we know it is real" is very far from the truth.
According to that article then it looks like the X1 is the worst version but it could be even worst on PC like last time.
I read on Digital Foundry that the Xbox one version is suffering framerate issues plus is running at 900p. The PS4 version is once again the best console option to get.
