With the father's day sales, I know of 3 people personally that have jumped onto the xbox bandwagon. I'll bet there's a lot of people doing it.
I prefer the power brick how it is. It's been close to two years since I've seen mine, and I'd rather it not be in the console making it that much bigger creating heat issues. Who really cares how many wires and other junk they have sitting under they're entertainment center?

I understand it's a long hard and almost impossible road for them to undertake, but why the hell not support them? If there's a chance they can make games comparable to anything like GOW, then it's to our advantage. We need more dev's out there with the balls to suck it up and make amazing games. I'm excited for them to go multi-platform and fully support them. Who cares what kind of bad rap they got for making the most over-hyped ...
Probably too good to be true. I bet you just get $25 towards a new game, and not that plus the trade in value of your game. But i dunno, I might just be a skeptic towards them.

I keep hearing that, but it's not even an argument... It's cheapest because it didn't come with a drive (common sense), and it's their lead console because it's cheaper and it appeals to a lot of the "less than" hard core gamers (99% of which you'll never see here adding their personal insight).
But, the ability to put a drive on it is still there. IMHO this move shows the xbox was always geared up and ready to support digital distribution, since anyone any ...
Did they make a mistake? I don't think so... they played a different card, keeping the price of they're console down, and yup it paid off for them.
Was it a risk? Heck ya, but one worth taking.
Does it effect gaming? It's starting to, but so far I've only played two game I've had to use more than one disk for and it didn't bother me at all. Otherwise from looking at comparison's from ps3 to the xbox, there's not enough of a difference in any game for me to worry about it.
I agree. MW2 is still a good game. You can tell it doesn't get a lot of love from the devs but none the less, as far as games go it's still one of the best out there right now.
I don't plan on buying the maps, because I'm getting burnt out on the game, but as far as maps go, MW2 does maps far better than any i've been in in a while.
