While I agree that female gamers have a tough time online, I believe the average male gamer has it far worse. There was an article here posted a while back that read, "5 reasons why it's tough being a guy gamer", and it perfectly nailed the points home.
UC2 is a great game indeed. And in the action-shooter genre, it's on par with the top games. And definitely the best PS3 exclusive. But best game ever? Not even close. This is often an ignorant claim made by most people who've not even had a decade of gaming experience and/or fanboys who'll defend to death, anything associated with their platform.
Not bad at all. They're better than I had originally expected. The $499 pricing, if true, sounds promising as well. Too bad I already went for ATi a month ago.
Nothing personal but....what the hell were you thinking back then? From the moment I saw the way they treated their PC fanbase, I knew they'd have the same attitude for those on consoles, and the journey would end in a trainwreck.
BC2 is where it's at. I know it's far from perfect. But it's a much better MP experience than this crap.

Uhhh....no. Have you seen the Wii sales numbers? If your theory is true, then that would mean the PC pwns both consoles left and right. But are we seeing that happening? No. The consoles still have overall better variety of exclusive games.

Yes, but imagine what Crysis 2 would have looked like as a PC exclusive, had the devs not gone greedy and went multiplat. I sincerely hope this game fails to beat KZ2, and then maybe Crytek will learn their lesson that some things are just better left alone on the PC. They can't even beat their own 2.5 year old game, such a shame. And I'm pretty sure the new 'linear' gameplay won't sit well with fans of the original game.
If you're talking about MW2, BC2 and MOH, well they should be. They're all based on modern combat and are action packed FPS games. Thus they'll probably have some similarities, but gameplay-wise they'll probably be very different from each other.
Anyway, what did you expect? This is not the sci-fi genre where the developers can come up with just about any ridiculous idea they can think of. IF you're implying that MOH is 'exactly the same' as MW2 just because they both have the ...
I'm with him on this one. Maxing out a console alone is not an achievement. It's how you make use of the hardware available to you to make an innovative game, that is the important thing.

PCGA is a joke. Microsoft has done nothing recently to help the growth of PC gaming and neither did Epic. It's sad they're even on the PCGA because they don't give a rat's a** about PC gaming. Yeah, the PC gaming market has 3% growth in 2009, with no thanks to you, Micros**t.

I've been supporting this game from day one. But is anyone else starting to get tired of EA's incompetence on the server part? I know the multiplayer experience is awesome, but it's all for nothing if we can't even connect to servers in the first place.
