Yeah won't it be funny when the 360 version runs better than the ps3 version again?
Which console is maxed again?
Hype sells more skus than telling the truth!
when the 360 version trounces the ps3 version again?
yeah i was kinda hoping you'd say that.
:)
is that it?
is that what has been defined as 'floored" in the title?
kinda dissappointing.
what's your problem Juuken?
I am merely agreeing with you that MS has done exceptionally well?
I can reply to anyone, at anytime, anywhere.
Including you.
there is compounding evidence that the article is correct.
Sony is losing money on too many fronts.
I would prefer to see them concentrate their efforts in areas that have been historically profitable for them, but at the same time they need to reduce their speculative ventures.
isn't that what the gist of the article was?
pretty much spot on, imo.
not really, guys.
the ps3 will sell a certain number of consoles just because the ps2 was so successful.
It is called brand loyalty.
Thus, a certain proportion of ps3 sales were assured regardless of price and quality.
In other words, it was expected, by default. It is not amazing at all. In fact, it is rather predictable.

yeah Congrats to MS.
They've done much better this gen than anyone would have predicted, huh, Juuken?
Yeah man... that's what i have been repeatedly saying fora bout a year now and look where it got me: 2 bubbles.
It stands to reason that you must not post accurate facts on n4g, because fanboys don't like facts... they prefer hype! Any reference to facts will get you debubbled quick smart.
That said, well done MS at 28 million.
I agree it will likely take the ps3 until 2011/12 to catch up.
managed to INCREASE the gap in 2008?
Well done MS. Well done.
no, you are wrong... come on, friend!
it needs to be said that in EA's most recent financial report, it was stated that EA made more money on the 360 platform than ps2 and ps3 COMBINED!

just setting the record straight.
It just won't do when people like you spread the lies ...

I have PM'ed you a response. In the future give me more than 5 minutes to reply. I am not a robot. Thanks.
I have a buddy at uni who does 360 mods by flashing the dvd rom.
You can play copied dvds similar to the ps2.
Illegal of course, but it would lend credence to the 'piracy leads to higher sku sales' argument.
Although it DOES NOT explain why the 360 has a much higher attach rate than both the ps3 and wii.
Looks like the 360 buyer wins regardless.
"Dude, this place is quiet," says one avatar.
"This could get boring fast," texts another in agreement
"As seems to be standard practice for Sony's PlayStation services, Home users can expect to have to regularly download updates before they log on to the service."
"1.04 update has disabled the voice chat feature, which means that instead of using their voices to talk each other via headset, Home users are only able to ...
Of the original 'street fighter I' at the gaming arcade down the bay where i live in Australia.
I remember being impressed by the mansized cabinet and rubber pads that you had to hit with your fist to get your character to respond!
aaah... the glorious memory of my misspent childhood!

Then after that the countless dollar coins spent on street fight...
What happened to my bubbles?
How did I lose 3 bubbles overnight?
Thanks to Sony fanboys, no doubt.
They act like little children.
In 2009, the ps3 needs a more competitive price.
Why won't Sony consider an 'arcade' style sku for its ps3?
A ps3 without wifi, with no game bundle, with 20gb hdd, with component cable only and some gimping in other non-essential areas, should shave some more $s off the purchase price.
Surely this can be done for $299?
In time, such an sku could also become available for $199.
Heck, I'd be the first in line for it!
