What the EU wants to do is for MS to make consumers aware of its competition, by using its operating system sales to give a free ride to said competitors.
It is akin to free advertising and product distribution of competing products at Microsoft's expense.

funnily enough, Windows XP, Vista, Office etc all run on this proprietary MAC hardware.
There is nothing unique or special about MAc hardware at all.
Yet, the Euronpean Union is not forcing MAC to bundle IE with their own browsing software?
Looks like we have one rule for MS and another rule for all the also-rans.
How can asking any company to bundle its competitor's products be a solution that promotes competition?
Realistically, in the economic long term, under these rules, companies will forego market leadership if it entails socialistic penalties.
Under these rules, the market will likelylearn that it is better to be the struggling underdog and hence be carried by penalties imposed on the market leader. (MS in this case)
This is not good for competition at all...
However, they are not perfect.

In some of the shots, KZ2 wins
In others GOW2 wins.
It is frustrating to see Sony fanboys defend the subtly superior KZ2 graphical differences that are, at times, observable in these comparisons. Of course GOW 2 *also* has these moments, but the SOny fanboys are more reluctant to admit that.
This phenomenon becomes more critically important when we consider how the exact same graphical differences are discounted by PS3 fans when it comes to the near unan...

Those are the two *MOST* recent multiplats in existence!
Yet, they run better on the 360!
Word has it that Skate2 was even lead on ps3, while SF4 was concurrently developed on both.
How is it possible?
