Now for the usual summary of counter arguments:
-With a bigger install base it's suppose to sell more.
-Attach rate for the game is 1/3 for PS3 versus 1/4 for the 360.
-My dad can beat up your dad.
etc.,etc.,etc...
I couldn't keep my eyes of the cleavage.
...was it truly necessary?
...not trying to put it down. They raised the bar so high on the first one that you can't really blame them.
...that they didn't sell out until the release of GTA4. It was obvious to all gamers that it would've been a huge mistake. EA wanted to pull off a Pat Riley when he replaced his head coach in the Heat's championship season.
Add another "10" to the PS3. Gran Turismo and God of War 3 are also sure bets. And Little Big Planet might surprise people.
This is going to be a must buy.
I'm not sure if you realized it, but the 4.5 is the score for the review, not the review score on the game. My point is that it's misleading and might cause some gamers to skip the review and/or the game. Most people don't bother with games that get terrible reviews.
...then I wonder what Jack the Ripper was playing that made him kill all those prostitutes. Grand Theft Wagon, maybe?
...that game should be banned.
...Remember that PS2 had a much larger install base than xbox back then. So it makes sense that there has been a shift of individual console sales, but overall GTA4 sold more then it's predecesor.
Games based on movies should limit themselves to 2D. I would've rather had a Contra like Ironman game with lots of laserbeams and missiles in an HD colorful well developed 2D platformer, than what they made.
"I am"...not impressed.
-With neither version offering anything over the other (we're discounting the motion control in the PS3 game as it's not worth using).
-Much has been made of the pop-in seen in the Xbox 360 game, but it's a minor problem that most gamers won't even notice.
Finally, look at the comparison video, specifically the helicopter ride. You can see how the water glissens on the PS3 version but not the 360's. Lighting is much better for the PS3.
...with an install base of 19 million over PS3s 13 million.
...it was 4 clerks recommending it for the 360 and 2 for the PS3. So it's me heading back to return it. I'll just have to get used to DVDs again.
Do you mean to say, " I have a Master's Degree". Sure you do...and Boll is a great director.
...Many people, including myself, have friends that own different consoles. Besides, the comparisons are mainly for those with two systems or people who haven't moved to next gen and want the best bang for their buck.
Save PS3?
*sigh*
