Rocksteady Studios, the previous developers of the Arkham series, were acquired by Warner Bros. (well, Time Warner) in 2010. I believe Rocksteady also had started work on Origins before it was handed over to WB Montreal.
I was unaware IGN was the be-all and end-all of the gaming industry :P
