They are still selling the Core system? Isn't that useless now? Some games will require HD to play on Xbox 360.. Why are they still selling it..

Sony already announced line ups for this year and next year. You should go check out Sony E3 (press conference). So far M$ just announced a few games for next year (mainly delay games from this year).
Sony did sell millions w/ couple of good games, even with stiff competition. M$ stuck @ 9-10 millions since last holiday...

no HD core model. 20gb is not enough. (60gb PS3 is barely enough)
DVD drive. By 2009 or next year it is gone. Everything will be HD in 2009 (all TV stations will be switch to HD)

I can't believe people still buy a wii... two of my friends bought it. They played it for a month, and haven't turn it on since.
I am not a hardcore gamer, and I bought PS3 a launch...wtf is wrong with me.
Overprice if you buy a PS3 as game console only. But if you know what it is capable of then you will understand why it is not overprice.
If you want to get a game console only, 360 is probably the best...
But if you want HD movies and HD games, PS3 goes nicely with HDTV.

Sony relies on PS3 to help them win the format war... The war could have been over after this year, but since Paramount excepted the deal. It is just going prolonging the HD format war....
Most people will going to buy transformer in DVD anyway. HD DVD is still dead.
