Crystal Chronicles for the 3DS? Maybe Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 3....it looks more like the latter though.

That doesn't mean you finished it. There is always something to do. Being done with it and finishing it are two different things. I can be finished with Final Fantasy XI in a week. That doesn't mean I actually finished it since there is always something to do.
One does not simply "finish" an MMORPG.
RIFT isn't exactly a competition. That game has been on sale more than anything I've seen on Steam...and it's lost a lot of subs since launch. If anything, I think Final Fantasy XIV 2.0 (launching later this year), is a bigger threat. Hell, I don't even think TERA is a threat since it's a Korean MMO and those barely lack any substance and don't stay afloat for too long.
Still better than FFVIII, imo.

I think the people at SE don't bother to fully think things though. They were able to give us big environments before....why not now? Hell, even niche and great games like the Tales series are able to do it....and Namco Bandai put less money into those games and I'm sure have a lot less people working on them. I think SE are just experimenting and blaming everybody but themselves for their failed experiments.

Because they are rebuilding the game from the ground up and re-launching it later this year. New engine, new servers, new world, and everything has been reformed.
Looks bad. The other Yakuza games were fun and even the other spin offs looked great. This just looks like a rushed game.
