Even if it does fall behind competition, it won't be as big of a gap as it was before. The Wii is losing momentum and the PS3 seems to be catching up to the 360.

It's a nice ad, but it sounds like one of those corny 90's commercial where they brag about 3D in video games (N64, PS1, Sega Saturn era). The guy in the commercial sounds like he was kidnapped from the 90's, lol.
Sony confirmed that you can use your regular HD or SD TV sets with a pair of 3D glasses to get the full experience. No need to buy a 3D "capable" monitor or TV.
This commercial was pretty corny, lol. I'm just glad Sony has confirmed I won't have to buy those new 3D television sets to be able to experience the 3D in movies and games. I just hope my eyes won't start hurting like when they did while watching Final Destination in 3D >_>

Dammit...I was starting to hope that it was real. Having 8GB of flash memory just shot my hopes down since there's no point for current, or even next gen consoles, to have that much memory.

As much as Demon's Souls deserves a 10 to us hardcore gamers...games like Guitar Hero, Dirt, etc, are games that appeal more to the casual crowd along with the hardcore. Demon's Souls is strictly a game for the hardcore. If it only appeals to one crowd, then it'll most likely receive lower ratings than the mainstream games.
It's completely unfair to the developers because their games aren't given an equal chance like the more popular games are, but that's life. I just wish journ...
However, nobody can be sure as to how much the PS3 slim has sold until Sony themselves reveal the numbers.

I'll admit that I'm a huge PS3 fanboy, but the difference between me and most fanboys, is that I don't delude myself and I research before I start to assume things.
The reason Final Fantasy XIII doesn't look as good as it was looking around a year ago, is because it had to be compressed in order to run on the PS3 and 360 (PC?) without any frame rate dips. Also, computers are used to create video games, and when it's transferred to the console...it might not run as well as initia...

It's better than waiting years for a remake that'll never happen, just so you can have a decent picture on your HD screen.
1st party games are what Nintendo does best for their consoles. It just sucks that 1st party games have such a huge gap between releases.

Who in the right mind even uses a 360 to watch movies? I can understand Netflix, but that's all it really has going for it.
The commercial shown was a revised version of it. The "Nigerian" part was altered to something else.
The soundtrack for the games pale in comparison to the epic games on the DS and PSP.
- Most developers don't develop anything serious for the iPhone
- No physical controls (touch screen only gets boring after a while)
- Battery life
- Nothing mind-blowingly addicting..only fun games to play on short bursts. Zenonia got pretty close.
