What a BS trailer. One of my favorite directors comes on stage, announces a game, shows nothing but special effects and says it's 3 years off >_<
Peace Walker is the best game in the MGS franchise to me. If that announcement happens....I'd be blown away lol. If the cut-scenes are actual cut-scenes and not comic book strips, I'd be even happier.
He might as well include MGO with all expansions running on PSN and not Konami's servers. Or even go as far as adding new scenarios ^_^
Yeah, I'll shut up and just wait till tonight.
There's a huge difference between XIV and Last Remnant; The PS3 version of XIV is already complete. It's getting pushed back to incorporate the updates in the Windows version.
REALLY fun game, but I'd give it an 8.8. The only thing I feel that's missing from the game is having more than just two people playing at a time. Maybe having a 4 player match where you'd have to fight off hundreds of zombies would have been nice.
With them putting so much money into the games themselves, not advertising, not localizing, what can they expect?
That game looked boring to me. The title seemed cool, but yeah..looks like the next RPG I have to look forward to is Disgaea 4 \m/
Cool..I'll get this game whenever I see it for about $40. I'm not a huge racing fan, but this game looks fun.
I see, but cmon....Microsoft and Sony release off the wall RPG games ALL of the time and they're not the ones selling the most consoles. Nintendo is being greedy and not supporting their smaller fanbase. Nintendo only cares about casual gamers and from time to time release games of their older franchises to BS hardcore gamers and show them that they "care" for their support.
It could be powerful enough to bend time and space, but being powerful isn't enough. People don't give it credit because no developer besides Nintendo knows how to make use of the Wii's hardware. So not enough games get released to make a difference.
I've played the game and it really isn't a game to brag about. The platforming is clunky, lack of voice work, odd cut-scenes, and bland levels don't make a good game.
It'll exceed expectations because nobody knows what to expect and because nothing is really known about the game. Duhhhhh
Brotherhood was their biggest launch title ever? Good, it's a great game and deserves recognition =)
So he blames video game developers (who create the video games he blames) for the horrible imagination and writing of movie developers? That's a bit unfair.
Yeah and then take into account the adults taking kids to see it. Most of whom have no idea what Harry Potter is and aren't too interested. Then consider the people taking others out on a date to see it. Yeah..not a fair comparison at ALL lol
Once in a blue moon
Yeah, but what if none of your friends who own it are online or what if none of your friends buy it and you want to play online? Then you're screwed.
Well, it's cool that somebody has found a game they consider perfect. I hope I find one soon.
The GTA IV DLC alone cost around 50 million dollars. That's just DLC...and for a game that came out two years ago. Game development is only getting more expensive, so year, 500,000,000 for 10 AAA titles seems about right.
A big achievement indeed. Some games didn't sell nearly as much and the devs went on to releasing sequels to them that sold even more. I think Ninja Theory just sets the financial bar a little too high and care very little for the gamers.
Some of these dates are wrong. Dead Space 2 comes out in January, inFamous 2 doesn't have a release date, but it'll probably come out Spring-Summer 2011 since Fall seems packed. Also, Final Fantasy Versus XIII doesn't have a release date, but it's pretty certain it won't be out in 2011 since we have absolutely no info about it. They should be announcing a vague release date in January at the SE conference.
