I just hope it's as captivating as Demon's Souls was.
I guess this list tells us not to take anything Gamepro has to say RPG related seriously. Whoa..Gamepro is still around? Wow I just realized it was from them, haha.
This list is all over the place. They include Persona 3 on PSP instead of FES. They also throw in Torchlight...if The Witcher can make it on the list (and very deserving), I'm sure other older RPGs could have overthrown Torchlight and Persona 3 PSP.
Well, that's not saying much. Look at Dead Space: Extraction. I'm sure they'll find a way to make it work.
Guys, RPG games do not sell well at all. Halo is the only exception because using RPGs in that game is pretty cool and I can understand. But look the poor sales AAA RPG games like Too Human and Front Mission evolved and gained.
Are you sure? This was confirmed to be coming out for PSN months ago as well then was cancelled and is only getting a 360 released.

@WhiteNoise
I know, I can read. What I'm saying is that since Torchlight 2 was confirmed for a PSN release several months ago, those plans may have changed since To...
I doubt it...I love this game, but most 360 gamers aren't RPG fans so I doubt a PC style RPG game will sell well. Hopefully it does.
Wow...I've never seen a company go all out like this before. Hopefully these guys get what they deserve.
@Nitrowolf2
Yeah, but Battlefield has totally destructible environments and on top of that, it's a graphically great looking game since it's a 2011 release by a competent developer.
At least in doing so, these guys get to experience what the sun is like since they're locked in the basement most of the time. Sony is doing them a favor.
Don't you need a gold membership on the Xbox? Not sure if you do or not,I'm asking. If you do, then you're still paying for it.
Seeing how they're a business and hacking means less sales since it always leads to pirating, I'm sure they're doing it because of the pirating and the loss of money that comes with it.
Because it has an online mode, which is reason enough to replay the game after you've done through the story. Plus, many people don't even bother with the story and buy the game solely for the online portion.
Yeah and the next one coming out will also be a Wii exclusive as well, which sucks since Nintendo hates trying to bring over great games to the US.
No need for one since the last Fatal Frame and the next one are both Nintendo exclusives. It doesn't seem like the PS3 will be getting any and they usually on release these trilogies when a game in the series has been released on the PS3, being released soon, or teased (Sly).

I read that this game supposedly runs on a new engine. That's why I posted that, lol. Oh well, I'm not entirely sure, but I know Halo fans will be all over this.
No, because a remake can contain new content, run on an entirely new engine, can expand on the story, and play differently. So yeah, the end result is far from the same.
This is a complete remake though so you can't compare it with the PS3 HD Classics. Those are older games running at higher resolution, AA and some of the games have higher res textures and in the case of ICO, it has new textures.
No....the next generation will include a bunch of extra features and use new gimmicks rather than try to become a graphical portable powerhouse.
