Does a game that's over a hundred hours of gameplay really need DLC? Seriously. I have the game. Am about 60 hours into it and i cant imagine getting more content for a game that I know will not end for at least another 40 hours of gameplay.
I work at Best Buy instead.
Yea, the PS3 is doomed. /sarcasm/. Enough with these stupid articles already.
That does look really good. Can't wait.
Was out last week at my Best Buy!
I live in Massachusetts. Its the one in Fairhaven. I would think it would be all of them.
Wal Mart has Fallout 3 on sale this week for 39.99. Just picked it up. Couldn't resist that deal.
Same here. We obviously have our preferences for which console we like so lets leave it at that. Anyway, Socom is a great game. I play it every day and the reviews that are out now are really premature considering the circumstances. Until the game is fully functional the reviews dont do it justice. I really do wish it came out when everything was ready though. It would of made my day and everybody elses time on the game that much more pleasurable from the start.
Yea, back then it was cool to own both consoles. Now its its like a life or death decision. With followers telling you which is better and whatnot. Things have certainly changed.
"Do I get enough out of my Playstation 3 to justify spending that much cash on it? And more importantly, is it worth the additional $100-$150 it'll cost to have a PS3 instead of an Xbox 360."
Really? So having no HDD and no wifi at 199 is justification. I think the extra 150 is well worth it. What if you want those features later on. Lets see. $120 HDD + $100 wifi adapter. Oh maybe I would like to play online also. $50 Live account. Add that up carry the 3 plus ...
Believe me I talked to the VUDU rep that came into best buy to put out the demo and he showed me the content and everything but the picture quality is crap. Blu Ray is way better. I wouldn't waste my money on this.
Thats my boy!!
the idea of the attack dogs but I think if you shoot them they should die and not respawn. Its like in COD4 if you shoot down the chopper it doesn't come back. But it still seems like a cool idea.
It must be a piece of crap then. The XBR is the best tv on the market. Hands down.
I just read one of the best comments on this article. I feel exactly the same way on what this guy wrote about this article. Every gamer in general should read this and give feedback. This is a great response to this story. It's a bit lengthy, but a great read.
Here's the comment.
1.) Kudos on your "prediction"... however - albeit a half-hearted Kudos, it can't REALLY be called a prediction on a count that common sense dictates that ALL consoles wil...
I wonder if you can recreate the movie yourself like the game? I bet I could put something together better than this joke director.
They should make a Hot Red colored one!
Well I for one working at Best Buy I like to give an extensive demo on the PS3 so the consumer knows what they are getting from the system itself. Most of the consumers know they are getting a gaming system and a Blu Ray player, but I like to show them they're getting a web browser, picture viewer, music player. I also show them it has wifi capabilities and all the way down to having 6 way video chat with the eye toy to letting them know they can also purchase games, or movies on PSN for th...
but oh so slightly. The PS3 has huge momentum right now. There are quickly selling out in stores and the 360's are starting to collect dust. I see it every day at best buy. Even the shipments of the PS3 are getting slim which tells me they are running into a shortage. We only got six in yesterday and there were only 2 left at close. Meanwhile we had at least 35 360's. So while it may sell well, the PS3 is where it's at right now and the consumer sees it too.
Pre-ordering is pointless. The games are always there regardless. They make so many copies of each game that none of them sell out anyway.
