They have shown a lot of gameplay footage already (before E3) and they will be showing more stuff in the next days.
Here's the full E3 trailer, which is actually the intro cinematic for the game. The one they showed at the event was just a montage using footage from the old trailers and this new one.

How is the game looking like a flop? Everything I've seen looks good and I've been reading mostly positive previews. The fact that EA seems to want to wait until the game is ready, is also a good thing.
As for the trailers. I thought they were great. A lot of people loved them. Sure, they're not in-game, but that wasn't the point. They wanted to tell part of the story (which is a big focus of the game) and just market the game. They worked. It's not like t...
The game is still on track for a 2011 release. EA said it would either release in fiscal Q2 Y12 (July-September 2011) or Q3 Y12 (October-December 2011). They did mention the outside possibility of a January 2012 (calendar date) release, but they're definitely going for 2011. BioWare is also saying the second half of 2011.
The only thing the US isn't getting is the Scorpion VS Sub-Zero statue (although you get Scorpion and Sub-Zero bookends) and the steelbook. You get everything else, plus another version that comes with the arcade stick.
I don't see how Europe gets everything.
This was just a teaser for the trailer and not the actual trailer. We'll get the full trailer on Saturday, during the VGAs.
No offense to Jaffe and Krators, but THANK GOD Kratos isn't in the story mode. I don't mind guest characters, but there's no reason to ruin the game's story by adding a character from another game. Having him be playable is enough.
All the uk pre-order "bonuses" for TFU II are just unlock codes. Those skins and lightsaber crystals are already in the game and can be unlocked while playing. Only US sites like GameStop and Amazon have truly exclusive bonuses. Of course those could become DlC, but still...they're not in the game.
Just a mistake from the article. He probably checked the last part for a release date. Either way, all other articles mention next year.
Why not actually read the article you're submitting before posting it?
"Gearbox hopes to release the game next year."
No need for exclusive content and I doubt they'll make any. The game + DLC + any possible improvements is enough.
Just Mass Effect 2 (Jan. 2011) and obviously Mass Effect 3 at some point. I wonder if ME 3 will be a timed 360/PC exclusive.
No new info at all. At least for me. There's a new preview in the latest OXM UK issue, in which they also have a poster with Vader on one side and Starkiller and Yoda on the other side. Since they actually reveal Yoda will be in the game (not that there was any doubt), I'm guessing they also have some NEW info.
Definitely MK 1, 2 and 3, especially since the new MK takes place during those 3 games (with some twists).
Doesn't the fighting game require 2 move controllers? And there's also other games (like some from Sports Champions) that allow you to choose between 1 or 2 move controller.
If/when I buy it, I'd like to get a second move controller and a navigation controller. I don't get the 7 (so far) disagrees I got for my original post. I didn't bash the move or anything. Not that it matters. I'm just saying.
Yeah. It's a good conversion. As for using DS3 as a sub-controller. I'm not sure. I'd have to try it first, but if/when I get a move, I'd probably want to buy the navigation/sub-controller.
You still need another move controller and a navigation controller. And that's just for 1 player. Also...Don't they have the full Sports Champions game in the US pack (that includes the PS Eye and Move controller)? This one only has a demo of a few games.
You do realize that the fact that the characters look like they're on steroids, as you say, has nothing to do with the engine, right? That's the way they designed the characters and the same thing goes for the texture, which imo didn't look like clay animation. Take a loot at Mass Effect.
I'll be playing this until the release of The Old Republic.
They're changing the way it works/looks. They're not removing it.
They're also looking for people for an action/adventure game, flight game (if I remember correctly) and an open world rpg. Some of those elements could definitely be combined in one game though.
As for the FPS. It's possible that it's Republic Commando 2. They've rehired the lead designer (or someone important) from the first game and they've also licensed the unreal engine which they also used in the first game.
