Are there any shooters that use cloud based rendering on that scale? Can't say Crackdown 3 since it still hasn't made it to market.
Looking forward to seeing what Year Two will be like!
The Taken King was a great example of how to make the most of a small space, so I'd love to see more zones like the Dreadnought.
Of course, big open areas for sparrow racing is nice too! :D
If Square can unite different console generations (PS2/360/PC), I don't see why XB1/PS4 is such an impossible feat.
I'd be satisfied with just seeing the 60FPS increase in competitive multiplayer. It's smaller arenas with a limited number of players and can be tuned for those limitations. Uncharted 4 did a similar thing.
A lack of dedicated servers could be a nail in the coffin for competitive multiplayer. We'll have to see how they can compensate for a poor P2P connection.
Hopefully some of these features (text chat!) can make it into the console versions too.
Oh man, I forgot about that game. Wish I owned a 360 back when that was around!
As long as the only things that you HAVE to pay for are cosmetic (or early unlocks) and dont affect game balance, that's about the only way to get away with micro transactions that don't split the userbase.
That could explain why I still can't find a console in the wild!
Yet still no actual release date on The Fractured But Whole...
I really hope this becomes the next Space Team game.
The small performance gains are nice, but overall I agree.
Maybe we'll see the Mega Blox HALO game we've all been waiting for.
The team has had more than enough time to experiment with current gen tech, so there's no excuse if it runs poorly.
It got you to pay attention, right?
At least let us punch a tank to death.
Maybe we can see some Pro/Scorpio enhancements carried over from the PC version.
Some of the choices on there are rather shocking. I wouldn't have considered System Shock 2 to be an RPG but I'm glad it charted so high.
I'm sure having to account for handheld and dock modes on the Switch is another roadblock in development.
