Good. The last thing I want to see are more shareholders intervening in the more creative titles like UbiArt.
If Far Cry can do it, Killzone certainly can too!
Just my two cents, but EA should drop the price on heroes significantly and compensate by raising the cost of cosmetics and accessories. Anything that affects regular gameplay needs to be easier to obtain.
They've definitely opened Pandora's Box, no pun intended.
If EA can keep Titanfall 3 (or whatever they decide to do next) a pure $60 experience without paid maps or extraneous bullshit, it could be a good contrast against the $100+ Battlefield titles that force players to purchase the map packs in order to have the full experience.
I know! I really just want to play Lost Odyssey again but there's no time!
No HDR on PC? C'mon...
The MP lootboxes feel inconsequential in WWII. Zombies, on the other hand...
I do agree with you, but I would absolutely take an open world game that can hit 45-60 FPS, even if it's not steady, over a standard/steady 30FPS.
I saw it's about $10 for a new copy, so I'll have to track one down when I get my X.
That draw distance is gorgeous.
A lot of times, it feels like shareholders claim that everything is on fire if games don't sell two million copies on the first day. Micro transactions at least show some additional income to pay those games that might not have as strong of a first launch (but still have sustained sales throughout the first year).
I think the whole business model of AAA games is pretty terrible, but nothing short of another crash is going to change the market in a positive direction.
I'm so glad to see Rare set free from the chains of motion gaming.
To be fair, 1080p60 would be the way to go if it's a locked 60.
Exactly. Just throwing more horsepower at a project will get some gains, but not nearly as much as if you code for efficiency in the first place.
FC4 was a step in the right direction. Hope 5 can do what they promise.
This is typical of any new hardware launch. Did the One S and PS4 Pro have similar issues during the holidays?
That's really smart. The final encounter is all but impossible without communication.
So glad they finally made the combat tolerable after 8 games.
Bummer you have to use MasterCard to get the most of it, but even $110+ off ain't too bad.
