It's harder than COD controls style, yes, but suits the game perfectly. I can not imagine playing KZ2 with an arcadish layout, just wouldn't feel right...
Won't beat MW2 because it won't have the same amout of hype. BUT, there's no doubt this game is better. At least for me, since you get the feeling that your team is doing something, not just *run*shoot*reload*run*shoot*re load*prone(camp)*die*respawn* (repeat)

It depends wether they play it safe (GOTY MW2), or actually give some credit where it belongs (GOTY U2). It's a 50-50 situation.
