It could very well be. All their concepts and ideas seem great, it is now just depending on their excecution and making it all work. I will wait for the reviews before deciding anything.

Ok cool. I agree it's not all that important in this case considering it's mostly FPS with helmets. I wouldn't say it's good either... I think it's just decent (the human male options are bad, the others are ok)

I'm about 5 hours in the beta and am level 6. so far it achieves a nice mix different styles. The main focus in the beta is on the single player/ cooprative part of the game. You must get to level 5 to unlock the multiplayer if i am not mistaken. They introduce the kinda different modes that blend well. For instance when outside at the beginning of a mission i ran into another player and some foes, we wrecked havoc and did some side mission where we had to defend a satelite or something. ...
LOL nice... well said. Even tho you're right about the liniar mission structure so far (the 'raid' is a different story), I still find it all entertaining as hell and just can't stop playing... So it does meet my expectations
I dislike these practices whoever gets the sloppy seconds. It was crap last gen when PS3 got shafted most times and it's crap now. (timed) Exclusive content is dumb.

I agree. But I will wait and see. If it is just a graphic improvement then another 60 bucks will be too much for me. If they put in new content and add a lot of things/improvements to the original content I might bite.

The focus of the game or at least how it is marketed is on the mmorpg-ish aspects of the game, nevertheless I think Bungie will not neglect the huge playerbase that loves competitive multiplayer. They allready have the pedigree to deliver on that premise. In other words; you will be fine ;)

from what I have seen that is a given. The cars in the trailers are sporting 'club' colours/logos. So if you have or start your own 'club' you can decide the palette.
Customization like spoilers, skirts, rims, etc I have not yet seen.
