A lot of the DLC crap isn't 'extra,' it's content that is withheld, for more profit.

You go buy a game you'd enjoy, just to have Disc Locked Content (DLC).
The thing, though, is that the so called 'Downloadable Content,' is on disc.

Yes, it's a business, but making customers pay extra to get a complete game? That's called being greedy, good sir. A good business practice is to make a great complete game, with plenty of content. Not nickle and diming.

This game is looking to be, in my opinion, the best of the series yet.
Now, of course I don't know much about it, but I'm speaking on the few screenshots.
The environments, the setting, and the atmosphere of the few screenshots look excellent.
Also, the use of the dog and the deer, seems like it could add a new element to the game.
The ability to scale and hide in the trees, as well as possibly crouch, sounds great.

And, I think it could be beneficial to the game to have just the hidden blade.
I mean .. you are an assassin. Your objective is to blend in and strike silently.
I agree, there is tons of potential in that ear; in Colonial America.
