I do listen to music on my consoles. Did with the original xbox, the xbox 360, the ps3 and i expect to do it on my ps4.
Actually if you followed the development of the original xbox, Microsoft did the same thing. They asked devolpers what they wanted hence the unified ram and other features that went into creating that machine.
I love ps+ but dont get it twisted. If you want to play online you need it. Its an awesome service but it is what it is
The playstion 1 had a better business model than the N64 for publishers. Cds vs carts. If sony had a hit game the publishers could manufacter cds a hell of a lot faster than they could with carts. I still say if the N64 was cd based like the PS1 things maybe different now.
I cant get on DC Universe right now.

This helped fuel console wars back when i was in school. Those were fun times indeed. Atari did come back at the intellivion with a new baseball commercial starring Billy Martin saying only the pros play realsports baseball over the intellivision baseball lol. Then it went on with the Sega does what Nintendon't ads. So in the early yea...
System wars been around since Atari vs Odysee. Back then the companies would make digs of each other thru their commercials. We would argue at school about it. For some great trash talk youtube intellivision baseball commercial. You will see Mattel make fun of Atari realsports baseball.
That Halo CE pistol was lethal!
I got lucky. I went out to buy a system on Dec 23rd. I went to Toys R Us and they had 3 xbox ones. So i went to best buy they had 10 ps4s and 12 xbox ones, so i bought a ps4 from them a extra controller and camera. Went to Target acros. the street and they had 5 ps4s and 2 xbox ones. I purchase killzone and need for speed cause they were giving 10% off. By the way i live in the chicagoland area.
I was 28 when the first PlayStation was released. Truth be told I didn't really like it at first. Call me old school but coming from pong thru to the snes I was having a ball. The snes was and still is my favorite so I naturally migrated to the N64. When I saw Tomb Raider I had to have one and boy did I have a great time. One of my many favorites was Bust a Move. I still buy PlayStation systems but I also buy Nintendo & Microsofts. I guess living thru the videogame crash taught me one...
Idk why we as gamers harp on this. The solution is easy for me. All I hear is choice, so why don't some of you exercise the greatest choice we as consumers have. To buy or not to buy. It's really that simple. I want Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo to make whatever system they want then I as a consumer will exercise my rights to choose what system fits my needs.

Show me a game on the 360 that looks better than TLOU then show me a game on the PS3 that looks better & run better than Halo 4 with 2 player campaign co-op, 4 player campaign co-op, forge, online multiplayer. Throw Gears, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six Vegas in the mix. Bottom line both consoles played to their strengths.
This is right on time cause I'm building me a gaming rig as we speak!
Playstation =Maria
Xbox=Otherzinc
Actually since the Atari 2600, systems have done everything from being calculators to basic computer programing to even being word processors like the Colecovision w/adam add on. So yes companies have always wanted their systems to do other things unrelated to actual gaming.
Awesome!!!!
It's Funcolands fault!
I guess some were xbox players. Just saying.
