I have all the previous gen consoles and I'm not biased but.....there is one reason I don't have a PS3, and two why I don't have a 360.....for both it's the price point, and for the 360...well when they decide to make it more reliable. I won't spend 5 bucks on something if it has a reputation of crappin out!

I have an Elite and the sound is fantastic, I got an insane deal, $499 on sale, vs. $ 1399 reg price. I was really lucky, they only had one. If you look, starting around July, a lot of sales will start popping up.
That's about the time when the new models start to come in. Open box and demo sales are good too,(if their still are under warranty). I got a pair of rear surrounds to match and complete my 7.1 system for $199, regular price.....$799!!!!

I have my own flame wars and fanboy battles on the weekends, It's called NASCAR and my Ford driving brothers........I'm a Chevy driver/fan. LOL
They buy every license, title, franchise, in sight. So you end up with a company so huge, you have to buy their crap because no one else has the rights.
To top it off, they make a financial killing by selling the same game every year. They just add a few worthless features put it in a different box and wella! a new game folks!

This is kinda like comparing component to HDMI. Unless you have high-end equipment, most people can't tell the difference.
Example: if you have a 60" 1080p Pioneer elite plasma, and sit five feet from it, you can see some improvement with HDMI. If you have a 32" 1080p you can't tell the difference.
Same for audio, unless you have a good surround setup(and an 8.1 or 7.1 speaker system), that's been installed and calibrated correctly, you won't know the difference.

Unlike some of the comments above, I like change. I don't wan't to pay 10 bucks to watch a movie that is exacty like a game I played. There would be no suprise, or originality......... but that's my opinion.
I don't favor one platform over the other (I own em all) but GT HD wins, hands down. The Forza 2 pics just look like......really shiny Forza 1 screen shots.
Gameinformer has the very same pics. so if you wanna see em just go to your local EB/Gamestop and check them out. They look much better in person.
Man! The co-driver sounds like a friggin robot, at least the trailer that I watched.
I don't understand it, especially since they made all those Colin McRae games with great voices.
Any who, I sent Codemasters an e-mail about it and they where kind enough to reply and say "they would pass on the feedback".
This is one of the first games I'll get when I go next-gen.
I read Gameinformers article on GTA IV and it was running on a 360 debug unit. If it's so limiting why not run it on a PS3?

One thing (the only thing) I agree with is the 360 core. Microsoft needs to hurry up with the new chipset, lower prices, and dump the core model. Yesterday would be nice!
