I for one wouldn't want EA servers. Not to mention if they are doing alot of cpu offload onto MS servers EA and Sony are definitely not set up for that currently.
Before anyone jumps on my comment saying how much more powerful the PS4 is than xbox so they wont need the cloud they are slightly mistaken. Many sites that have moderate engineered and tested the new consoles have stated repeatedly that xbox cpu is SLIGHTLY more powerful than ps4. Not a lot just a little bit. ...
I hope so. But it doesnt change the articles stating what I just stating. Im all for it having more and better games. But when you read articlesfrom rrespected journalists saying that sony is having a hard time getting the uber AAA games , stuff like this only reinforces those ideas
The reason I feel this way is because of the "console war" this is what most discussion has turned to on the internet. I mean really how many times can we have the same argument?
In this day in age it sucks that every new game 95% of the press and message boards are about resolution differences. And we only fuel these articles by debating them. Therefore we end up getting less and less actual news before a release because the main news sites know people will click...

Well apparently all those articles about sony having trouble getting games for the program were true. That sucks. Gonna really inhibit them from getting to where alot of the fans want NOW to be. Which is fully backlog of ps3 and then some of earlier gens.
Im sure they answered those questions if asked by devs at build conference where all these videos came from. These were to show devs to show what can be done with the new tech. Not for consumers. Big difference which is also why I dont understand people ragging on MS for not doing it with an actual game
If anything you just backed the dude by saying he believes in xbox. As he has said all along and immediately following e3 uproar said he didn't care the way xbox unveiled policies as they didn't do a good job explaining positives. Dude is the real deal. Its not like he couldn't go elsewhere and make money. The fact that he stuck around shows he's a good guy
Sony changed their stance on the issue following the xbox keynote. Simple as that. They were going to introduce the same policies as well but had the good fortune of being one day later on schedule. Simple as that
My xbox one can do a whole he'll of alot that my ps4 can't do. Specifically look at the speed of updates coming out each month adding features compared to speed of ur updates and contents. Technically its 3 devs one of which being an SCS engineer. Lets not act like its an overwhelming majority or anything.

Little bit different as all these versions u speak of have been prototypes and now dev kits. Not actual buyable consumer generations. Most hardcore pc gamers upgrade at least some piece of their rig every year or 2 anyways
I think the more iterations of tech the worst chance it has at succeeding. Especially if MS throws something out. The reason we haven't seen true group games is cost. And there is no consumer to counteract the costs for devs. Its not going to be like porting games for pc from console or vica versa. Each tech is going to be inherently different.
