Something tells me Sony's been working deliberately to get this working as a launch title for PlayStation 4. But at the same time, it has been promised a release for the PS3. So a cross-buy for PS3 same the day? Seems highly possible!
@Donnieboi: Yeah, imagine Sony telling their fanbase to suck it up. The ball is in Sony's court, and their obvious choices are to either let pass in silence or revitalise it.
Squaresoft did atmosfere, storytelling and character development like no other. Now graphics-wise, I feel they did a pretty good with the tools at their disposal.
A+
@ Summons75: Don't think too highly of yourself now.. SquareEnix only tend to circle jerk with graphic whores nowadays.
A "forgotten", British based gaming magazine getting a scoop like this isn't so far-fetched really, given R*s roots.
Playstation is aimed primeraly at men between, what, age 16-40?
Ngh! Not them feminists again.. -___-
I'd put Final Fantasy in the top 3.
Actually, if it's not too awful, I can forget some clunky gameplay mechanics. -Some-, mind you. As long as story, character development, plot and RPG elements are good (B- and up).
THIS looks like the Final Fantasy I knew and loved.
Never mind that Fabulous Nova Crap!
Defo keeping my I on this one.
Or shades of brown D:
@ wallis: " And why not have armour that just changes?" 'If only' it where that easy.. ask Bethesda. There's a reason they went down from six to four armor pieces.
I like a 'little bit' of realism in my rpgs. Where's the fat lady innkeeper? Or the tubby scribe everyone bullies?
MAIN REASON THERE AREN'T FAT PEOPLE IN SKYRIM:
-because it would create issues with abundant amount of models.
SOLUTION:
-Allow for there to be fat NPC's who don't wear armor.
Any official statements on your rumor, there? Any proof the thieveries are linked to the PSN hacking?
I see only idiots using one password.
Frickin awsome game. The Golden Age of gaming right there.
ELDERSCROLLS VI: RETURN OF THE DWARVES
*yawn*
Beyond the graphics, FFXIII was shit -compared to other FF's-.
Doesn't even matter whether it's because of developers going multiplat or not.
@ Megaman_nerd: Hold your tongue. This is blasphemy!
You could poke at FF8 or 12's graphics, for reaching beyond the capabilities of their respective systems. But FF7s look was just right for it's time, and served its purpose PERFECTLY.
I don't think I'll hear any back talk on this one..
ANY game released for the Vita will be better than ANYTHING on the PSP? Seriously?
The Vita is cued for shovel-ware like any other system is. Not even twin analogs and higher specs can remedy that.
Sales numbers tell you NOTHING about the quality or general perception of particular game.
I'd much rather appreciate that Steam add a rating system.
