Don't feel sorry for 360 players at all. They have two of the best shooters on their console that's actaully online right now, Halo and Gears of War...Hell Call of Duty is practically exclusive since it's a wreck online with the PS3.

for access to online play sony should be making it more public as in a message when people boot up their ps3 .... it looks sloppy when people that have been all ready screwed are required to research how to get online for themselves... WEEEEAK SAUCE!

I know Sony is going to come back stronger than ever when they get back online. I've seen it happen before and I just know they won't let me down. Take your time Sony you are the best at everything, ever... no matter what happens we're here for you.
Live has had outages in the past, sure that sucks. But usually big games are associated with that like Halo or Call of Duty during the holidays. Are you telling me Socom 4's 1,500 online players caused this?!

Basically true when it comes to the single player, but the XBOX version will definitely be better online just like most games.
Naw bra....just to make the game better. I don't know if Zipper needs to keep its barn doors open or closed but they need to turn this franchise around one way or another. Gonna have to wait till Ghost Recon comes out in hopes of it being the next good 3rd person military shooter. Delay, delay, delay, keep your fingers crossed.

SOCOM 4 needs many more major patches. This game is bleeding "suck" all over the place!! Give the franchise to Guerilla Games before it's completely dead.
Socom 4 should not even be released. It should be illegal to sell poop for $60.
Good thing this game is exclusive to the 360. Gears would take away most of the online communities for the PS3 games,turning them into digital ghost towns.

I like the overall PS3 exclusives better but the heavy hitters, meaning exclusive shooters are on the 360, Halo and Gears. When PS3 software sales overtake 360 sales, then I'll be impressed. That's where the numbers matter. Yeah Gears has so much going for it that's why it's talked about so much. If the naysayers comment on it like they do and as often as they do, it's doing something right. SOCOM 4 just came out and will be nothing but a whisper a couple months from now.
