Nintendo has been such a longstanding company in the industry for a reason. If the Wii U does not succeed as expected, I can almost guarantee it won't mean the end of Nintendo themselves. The DS series will see to that.
So glad someone speaks out against this. I get entirely too upset when I see all of these Flappy Bird clones on the app store. Most of them have very high ratings, too! Grinds my gears.

I agree with what you said about the ESRB. If you find a video game disturbing, you don't have to play it. Research a game and see if it is right for the audience to purchase. If not (your child, for example)...just don't buy it.
