in my top 1 of games, Iceborne is my top 1! haha, what platform do you play on?
yeah, I meant to put it out sooner, but my life turned upside down recently... thanks for checking it out though!
easily in my first playthrough that I admittedly rushed through, I went into it with about 45-50 hours following one of the possible paths. As far as I know, with new game plus and the branching options, you could easily play this going three the four different scenarios and overall have an experience widely different from the one before. This is a must play my friend
Awesome. I'm glad you had such a great time with it.
I wouldn't say 2 is a bad score. It's mediocre in my opinion. But not bad, but my experience wasn't good. While I did have fun with it, I felt the replayability was artificially inflated. I guess in a world where we've had games with such strong gameplay elements, the button mashing of this title felt less than stellar. But hey! I'm glad you liked it! I had hours of fun with Ultimate Alliance 2, I just wish I did with 3.
FUCKING GROSS! I can't stand 2K games
Hey Soapy Jay, it seems like I can't reply back to the last one, but to continue from your last comment it does work well against AT Vaal as long as you get max effluvia resistance... to be honest though I think I could come up with a better one. Feel free to reach out to me via the forms on Lifted Geek and I can stay in touch with you, or find me on Reddit, I'm very active in the Monster Hunter subreddit, look up LFTDPrince
hah! yeah it happens. It's pretty brittle against dragon so I have to be very careful with Deviljho and Xenojiva. Overall though, it's been a fun build to run with, it's basically my bread and butter build.
Here's hoping TLOU2 delivers
Hands down the best I've ever played this generation.
Oh I get that the settings aren't the same but the aesthetics were still very similar from the character designs to some of the art decisions. Of course each game took inspired choices with their design, it still felt like the aesthetics were common.
Lots of leather, big swords, a bit of s jrock aesthetic.
Most of Tetsuya Nomura designed Final Fantasy games kept a common aesthetic to the characters and the world's they lived in. What drew me most to FFXII was after every installment since VII (save for IX) having a common look to their games, we got something new. With FFXII designer Akihiko Yoshida, the overall look and feel of the characters and worlds incorporated such stunning aesthetics it drew me in more. I also was a huge fan of Tactics and Vagrant Story where Yoshida also was the le...
I highly doubt we'll ever see this come to Vita or 3DS. It feels made for mobile and honestly couldn't work on any other platform.
Aces FullmetalRoyale, great comment.
for the record, I am a huge fan of the Uncharted series, but even in my review I praised RotTR for accomplishing gameplay aspects that Uncharted couldn't do well, primarily the gunplay and the stealth... remember trying to be stealthy in Uncharted games? UGH!
I sensed an air of Uncharted fanboyism as well.
could also be since it did release so early in the next gen's life cycle.
thanks for pointing it out, usually I do more proof reading, but I wrote this before the launch because I procrastinated too much on it, actually starting writing it before midnight and finished after... brain worked weird I guess. Thanks for the input though.
it's alot of fun, i find that communication is better on PC. Unless you have a headset, conq matches are a bloody pain! I played several matches and not one had anothe headset user. One game did and all we kept doing was talking about how they were feeding too much. Get on PC yo!
It's hard to call it DLC, because it was so expansive, so huge, it's almsot like a whole new game entirely.
