i didn't buy it for my ps3 because i bought 3 other exclusives instead(yakuza 4,killzone 3,and trinity souls of zill o'll which got so-so reviews but is fun as hell). if i had to choose a multiplat over an exclusive, i would most likely choose exclusive. the only real big fps franchise on the ps3 is cod, but that's big on every platform. i play all types of games not just fps like some of the ps3 or xbox 360 userbase.
i'm just fine with my ps3 until 2015 at the earliest. were people in such a rush when the ps2/xbox/gamecube was still in their prime? probably not. this guy is crazy if he thinks i'm gonna just leave my ps3 like it's nothing.
i'll never stop playing/buying consoles.

i personally prefer ps3 is because of that playstation legacy of excellent and diverse games with a long and immersive sp experience. the mp thing comes last when it comes to me, not the end-all-be-all. i could never find those type of exclusives on my 360no matter how hard i tried. the only sp/story focused game i have seen ms publish/fund is alan wake and fable games that's about it lol. the only way i can see someone prefer the 360 over the ps3 is for xbox live and maybe multiplats. <...
every cod is the same shit. when i do get the itch for a cod game, i already know what to expect. i do the exact same thing for Pokemon as well. oh and to the people that ONLY play cod, they aren't real gamers either no matter what you say. they are the new form of casual gamers. real gamers play all sorts of games to find new experiences, regardless of the genre. a little exposure to other fps series might help people expand their gaming mind/library.
that takes vgchartz 100% to the heart and seriously needs to get their head checked out. they undertrack EVERYTHING. that can one day include xbox 360,ps3,wii,psp,or the ds.
i never played socom on the ps2 before but i like these type of hardcore tps games. is it like counter-strike where you have to plant the bomb and rescue hostages? I'll be getting the game and i have the beta pass, but i just wanted some head's up info.
