Not a problem sir, it's always a pleasure to speak with a like minded individual. We are all gamers searching for the best experience.

I respect your opinion @_LarZen but you can't blind fold yourself to other options and not consider that maybe there are some legitimate reasons to purchase the other console. Just to play devils advocate I will answer your questions:

1. Native 4K? That's the problem. I've read a couple of articles stating otherwise. Please understand that up-scaling to 4K no matter what technique is being used is not native 4K. The only way to know what the true difference i...

@danoman64 Yeah because it's not like the majority of the top games aren't 3rd party right? Stop using the "exclusive" BS to defend what Sony did today.

3420d ago 3 agree14 disagreeView comment

@PizzaSteve, Obviously you don't understand what Microsoft is giving it's gamers with the ability to play games both on the PC and Xbox Scorpio. No exclusives? You still need Xbox live to play online and the game still requires Windows OS to run so explain to me again just how the game is not exclusive to the MS ecosystem? Get a clue fanboy. Hell even Sony is starting to offer it's games for the PC through their PlayStation Now service. Sony's vision is to allow you to pla...

It happens all of the time. Sony has a legacy when it comes to gaming and there is no doubt of how successful they have been in the gaming industry but a lot of these "fanatics" think it's their job to defend Sony's honor even when Sony purposely screws them. It's like watching the Android camp go against the Apple (IOS) camp on who has the better phone. I own both systems so I really don't care who comes out on top since I can buy whatever game comes out for both...

The graphics are not weaker than the Xbox. The regular PS4 has better graphics than the Xbox. The issue is that both the new PS4 slim and the PS4 pro are missing features that the new Xbox One S which is "weaker" has out the box. People here have a hard time understanding that since everyone is comparing the value of the new systems versus the competition.

@badz149
Dude, I find it funny how @Strikepackage Bravo didn't mention the Xbox at all but the first words out of your mouth where about the Xbox. If you can't see what a "non-value" the PS4 pro is then it is you who is a blind fan boy. Release a console without UHD BR support at a high price point when a "weaker" console with a low price point has it? Really? Stop defending Sony and open your eyes. A lot of us wanted a better console but instead we got...

You have to laugh at some of these comments.. "Digital distribution is anti-consumer!" I guess if you are into selling your games then yes it does suck but anti-consumer? That's matter of opinion. Both options have pros and cons. You have to follow what I like to call the golden consumer rules when buying video games:

1. Know the pros and cons of both distribution formats.
2. Do your homework on any game you intend on buying.
3. If you like...

@Sevir
We will agree to disagree sir as the PS4 Slim IS lacking features compared to the Xbox One S. In my opinion, this has nothing to do with following Microsoft and everything to do with giving the consumers a better bang for the buck which they did not do. "This is Sony doing Sony!" As in this is Sony getting arrogant and not giving it's audience something that could have gotten them even more money in T.V sales alone then what they have now? What's so textbook...

@Sevir
I respect your opinion and I agree with you when you say that there are people who just troll forums for the heck of it but there are some of us who legitimately are kinda mad about this. If this is the model that is going to replace the current PS4 and welcome in new gamers to the PlayStation family who are price conscious then why not make it have the same features of the Xbox One S which many view as an inferior product? Sony has a huge business selling really nice T.V.s ...

@DigitalRaptor
Your absolutely right, the original Xbox One was pretty ugly, but he didn't mention anything about the Xbox One did he? Just face it, the new PS4 slim looks cheap as hell and is nowhere near as good looking at the new Xbox One S. It doesn't even give you a bang for your buck on features and you still defend it? I would definitely hide that hideous looking thing under my T.V. so people literally wouldn't know it was there too... :-)

"He disputes and says the Xbox s is smaller. He is then proved wrong. Then he goes to say its not a competition and its about gamers and blah blah blah. The exact people that ruin society as we know it and whats wrong with this site in general."

We must not be reading the same post. He gave random numbers with no source, I gave numbers with actual sources to back them up. He did not prove me wrong at all. Get your facts straight.

@GamingIVfun
Not to get into an argument with you sir as I respect your opinion but no they are not. There are many links from many different websites showing the size comparison via images between the PS4 and the Xbox One S and all of them say the Xbox One S is smaller not by much but is ultimately smaller. The_Infected posted actual dimensions to which I replied with actual dimensions as well. The link I provided with the image comes from the following reddit page:

@Izalith
I respect your opinion Izalith but Sony would be doing it much worse. "It goes both ways" Actually, it does not and here's why, there are only two consoles out for Microsoft right now: Consumers can only purchase one or the other: the original Xbox One and the Xbox One S. If Sony does what everyone thinks they will do, they will have 4 consoles out for purchase: PSVR, PS4, PS4 Slim, and the PS4 Neo by the end of this year. That's four consoles for Sony...

That's the thing, if I was a betting man I would put money on Sony not releasing the Neo this year. Announcing it yes, but not releasing it. I mean why? Think about it, you have 40+ million PS4s out there. Even with Microsoft releasing the Slim which is way better than their original Xbox One in almost every way the sales gap is not going to magically shrink overnight not to mention that it's still not more powerful than the PS4. Both companies releasing slim models makes sense beca...

@_-EDMIX-_
That is a very good question sir and I have a very good answer for you. Having options doesn't hurt consumers at all it's actually what we as consumers want. In my post I never said options hurt consumers. All I said was that having two consoles from the same company a month apart with one being much more powerful than the other would piss many consumers off not to mention confuse them. The question that will come into play is "why buy a Slim when the more ...

You are 100% correct sir. But it would've been nice. With how insanely cheap 4K T.Vs are right now this would have made a good set up. For most people having a PS4 / Xbox One S in their living room with the capability to play 4K video would've been really nice considering how expensive some of these dedicated 4K players are today. I'm still hoping that this is not true. I have a living room and a "man cave" (both have 4K T.Vs) in my house and a PS4 with 4K / HDR would...

There have been some elaborate hoaxes but in this case it's kind of hard to do it when it includes the box, the components inside, and they even took comparison shots between the regular PS4 and the new Slim model. Take a look at the link below. Looks pretty real to me. As surprising as it may seem, they actually managed to make the Slim smaller than the already small regular PS4. Quite a feat of engineering if you ask me.

@The_Infected
Agreed, but we still don't know full capabilities of the Slim. I personally don't really care, all I want is info on the Neo.
