Crap article full of wrong information. Halo did it first in 2001, and then Gears in 2006m as did Resistance. Saying COD4 made is 'popular' is wrong, as Uncharted (and others) came out roughly at the same time, so I doubt it was stolen. Plenty of games had in in 2007, and had nothing to do with COD4.
"Donkey Kong Country is pushing the SNES to the limits..."
So what did everything else think when DKC2 & 3 looked quite a bit better, and were both much longer with the same 32Mb cart? For PS2, compare SSX and SSX3. A commoner wouldn't believe they're on the same system.
It says "one of", not the hottest! There are hotter, but none that I think are more hardcore gamer than her (that I've seen). Most 'gamer girls' on the net just talk about being a 'girl gamer' all the time instead of talking about videogames. That is NOT the case in this one.
Totally agree! The SNES days were the best. I still consider the PS1 the SNES-CD add-on :-P
I'm not sure Kutaragi fulfills most peoples' Asian fetish, though!
If you've seen better I'd like the pictures, please!
It's so weird thinking that the PlayStation isn't the #1 system. It's been the top seller since 1995. Shows that anyone can sneak in and win!
That's a very good list, actually. I own nearly every one of those games and looking back, I totally agree.
I think a 60GB Pro system for $249 would've been pure magic.
Changing browsers is a major undertaking. Chrome better replace IE for some, but I doubt it'll sway FF users.
It's never been said better than it is here, regarding how kiddy the Wii is: http://www.tommyzor.com/ins... (warning: LONG)
Actraiser in 1990? You sure about that? And why screenshots from Actraiser 2?
My PS3 is power hungry and loud. I keep it in a closet now with a 20ft HDMI cable. Ditto on the 360. Systems should be silent, but early gens tend not to be. Newer PS3s are very quiet.
The last thing the world needs is another Google product. Do they need to be *everywhere*?
I think there's a lot of sarcasm in there. I agree that the "very best" games tend to be single-player, but some have 2+ player modes that can make the game enjoyable. Like Streets of Rage - it works fine both ways. Co-op play is a little different, since it takes out the competitive aspect of the game, and can totally feel like a singular experience.
