What would bring me shame is having a Xbone in the living room instead of a PS4. I will not dishonor my gaming privileges and the future of gaming with that POS in the living room! PS4 will look stunning for all to see in my home!
6ogb and 5 of those 12 launch games. Resistance was an amazing game for a launch title, the multiplayer was as intense as any this gen. School of hard knocks for my FPS beginnings.
They are just worried, Games are becoming more and more like films and they see that in the future, games will surpass motion pictures. From the quality of the storytelling to top notch cgi-like graphics and characters we hold in high regard(Not like current generation and past gen have already demonstrated), the thing is are medium is interactive - we control - They do not respect because they fear our industry!
Is PlayStation the best place to play? With out a doubt!

Uncharted was an incredible experience and reassured me that this is the next generation of games, like it and MGS4 and many others are the reason I bought a PS3. Uncharted 2 no doubt will deliver in gameplay, graphics, audio, presentation, etc. October will be a great month!
If this game sucks, the hell do I care about its Frames per second. If it is a great game, I'll give it a play and probably purchase it no matter if its 30 or 60fps. But until then I still haven't seen nothing on another console as impressive as Uncharted and Killzone 2, so Rage better be incredible graphics and gameplay wise or I will just easily overlook it and choose an alternative exclusive that my preferred console of choice seems to pump out about every month or so with spectacular grap...
Great, umm, sales, uh.. Sales from companies doesn't affect me as a consumer only games for my preferred console do. But on this site there is less information about games and more on bullsh!t that doesn't have to do with gamers.
Our favorite hobby will never get the respect it deserves when it continues to be called "Video Games". It's so much more than that and these old farts will never get it and will continue to associate it with kids and toys. I call what I do every day after work "Interactive Entertainment", I've heard it somewhere before but it depicts my hobby perfectly and with maturity.

Metal Gear Solid 3 is probably my favorite game of all time, not to mention the greatest game that graced the PS2 for me. There are small similarities like the Snake Eater theme song maybe but that is all that comes to mind when comparing the two(even though it obliterates all the james bond theme songs!!). If you have have never played the game before and if you did you would sense that there is nothing out like MGS3 and to call it a blatant rip-off, you must have the IQ equivalent to a snai...
If GT5 releases this year I will be a truly happy gamer, if it releases next year, I will be a truly happy gamer!!! :-) I'm salivating for GT5, I can't contain myself.
Gran Turismo is known as "The Real Driving Simulator". If you like NASCAR or prefer Rally Racing or just like to hop in a vehicle that you probably won't ever get the chance to drive in real life, and feel how close to reality this game gets with those cars..No wonder pro's practice with GT. I see GT5 as....ah sh!t I cannot wait to be immersed by this next iteration for months!!!!
If it's similar to Indigo Prophecy then it will be fantastic since when IP released it was refreshing playing a game like no other, truly original. Heavy Rain will be a great, different, unique experience that I will welcome this generation.
Too many great titles arriving on the PSP, I will have just have to buy myself a new one since my launch PSP died months ago, I mean how can you not? I certainly won't want to miss out on great games like this one and GT, LBP, etc..
My PS3 is a launch 60gig, and I purchased it off of e-bay back in '06 and runs like new without any problems be it firmware or otherwise. I disagree that every 60gig is a time bomb.
For me it's either Daniel Craig or Hugh Jackman both are better candidates than Bale, as I'm tired of seeing him take on too many leading roles. This isn't a looks contest as I would see the movie more for the acting and physicality that would be brought to play as Snake, by your post it just sounds like being "pretty matters only" Lol.
I'd rather see Daniel Craig as Solid Snake, Dye the hair, strap that bandanna around his head and boom time for some neck snapping on film!
