This happened to my game the easiest way around it is to go to the GAME DATA UTILITY folder at the very top of the game list (all the way above where you would start the game). then go into the folder and delete the update it should say gran turismo and it will be a huge folder it will also probably say it is corrupt data so get rid of it (that is what is freezing it and what froze mine).
