I actually wasnt even sure it was going to be worth it, but the difference is pretty wild. This is also one of my favorite games this year so im happy to see my next playthrough will be on a ps pro. I also agree with another post from earlier this month that this is going to be a great way to enjoy the new GTA title that’s on the horizon, hopefully more games keep being made that take full advantage of the pro but are able to be scaled back for the standard model.

Astro Bot has legs. It’s a name no one is aware of, but games like this sell consistently for a long period of time because of word of mouth, instead of just 10mil in sales first week it’ll do it but in a larger span of time.
Exactly. Im trading mine in and paying less than $400. The people complaining are just fanning flames trying to get people upset. This PS5 Pro is not expensive if you already own a ps5.
Just trade in your ps5. This PS5Pro is meant to be a trade-in upgrade for us that have a ps5. If you have never owned a ps5, $699 is well worth the price to dive in to some of the best games of the last few years.
Choices are good, always. Some people like me see the value in this Pro release, I still have my launch PS5 so I’m upgrading for sure. This console isnt for you and thats ok, doesnt mean someone else wont get it. $500 to one person can feel like $5 to another. Im not saying im rich but the price tag doesnt phase me at all.
I bought PS5 with disc drive at launch, have not put ONE disc in there and i thought i was going to use it a lot. Im still surprised ive never used the disc drive lol.
Same. It’s a no-brainer. If you’ve never owned a ps5 before then pay the full price, those of us loyal early adopters will take advantage of this AWESOME Trade-In program.

@Darth, the reason they say that about XB is because Microsoft brought all of XB best games to PC.
Many people dont care to build a PC and maintain it. I was a PC gamer for about 10 years. Happily switched to console and havent looked back. It’s true lately PC has been getting some of the good games that are on PS5, but thats good for the PC crowd and good for the developers to have their projects reach a wider audiance. I have not missed out on any games I wanted to play on PC because most of the great ones are multiplat anyway.

Im not thrilled about the price, but i know im getting a quality product that’ll last me a decade at the end of the day. If you can’t afford one that doesnt say anything bad about you, the entire country is struggling to make ends meet.
This console is meant for the people who never bought one in the first place that were looking for a reason to. If you already have a ps5. This upgrade isnt absolutely necessary, but the pro has significant upgrades that support the selling price. Inflation is very real, not just for consumers like us but also for companies like this.
Just want whoever wrote this article to know that I’ll be buying this game the moment i get off this keyboard. Ive heard nothing but good things, and still didnt buy it, but this article was the push i needed.
I guess Kil the Justice League makes more sense. Guardians was fun for a little bit for some people from what I heard.

This game isn’t hard, but I make it a point to only play this game 30 mins a day so i can prolong its magic. I am finished with the second world with the octopus, and every single minute i play is a fucking JOY.
