It worked for me when I did it weeks ago.
Loved this game. My only gripes would be the horrid texture pop in and the last level/ending.
My solution - use one save file ...70 hours in now and it's running completely fine.
Bf3 is very intense and the audio is superb...cod is very bland...if he truly believes cod's audio is on par with bf's he needs to have his hearing checked out.
I played battlefield 3 today...then my stepson asked me to go play cod with him. It was like leaving in the middle of my delicious steak dinner to go have some mcnuggets.

That's the exact same quest where mine was nearly unplayable. I brought it down to one save file and it's been alot better...but still small drops every now and then.
I haven't been to gamestop since the deus ex fiasco and I don't plan on ever going back. I prefer to have my games sealed when I pay full price for them.

It got old for me at brotherhood...never finished it. Ac2 is the only one I've really liked.
My save file is at 8 mb and it runs fine. I have skyrim on ps3...It's easily my goty.

After coming home from a hard days work to relax and play some games, the last thing I want to hear is multiple 12 year olds cussing up a storm with their annoying voices and some douchebag throwing out racial slurs.
30 hours in...no freezes...mine isn't nearly as bad as their video...but I do get some pretty bad frame rates at times. Hopefully they release a patch soon.
Yesterday mine was so choppy it was nearly unplayable (ps3 250g fatboy). I had 5 different save files so I deleted 4 and kept 1....turned off autosave and now it's back to running smooth again. Now I'm afraid everytime I save because the file size keeps growing.
Phenomenal game. Definitely deserves all of the praise it's getting.
