I think an 8 is a great score.
With a lot of games getting 6's-7's that probably shouldn't, for a game to escape that pack and get an 8 means it's probably pretty decent.
I for one, appreciate the dismal dark eeriness of the game. I remember back when the first RE came out, it really put you on edge without all the crazy in your face action.
First person, eerie, alone in the environment not sure what's gonna happen - those are great First person games. Not MAG - which is a weaker play on MW
Easy to plop a weak plot (in MAG's case no story line - online only) into a high octane action FPS to drive excitement.
Much harder ...
cannot wait for this game!
This could be a big hit or miss...they have good elements for a kids game. I'm interested to see.
I agree, Sony all the way over Microsoft AKA the (evil empire)
console games seem to be heavier on FPS/TPS titles, I guess
I was such a fan of the original RE, granted the recent games haven't been as good as the first one. The RE franchise will always have a special place in my heart
Mutant League Football needs to comeback
I totally forgot this was a franchise all together.
Crapbox indeed!
Super Mario Galaxy 2 should also be a top seller!
Metroid!!!!!
I am in agreement! Earthworm Jim was an awesome game, it would have been great to see the franchise revamped and brought back to life.
That's hilarious! Literally etched in stone. NICE!
haven't played it yet! don't think i ever will.
word on the street is that it's not as good as the previous. Bummer, I thought they could have done a lot of cool stuff with the tandem gameplay.
if the engine is good, then the shooting movement should be nice, thus making this title worth playing. I hate it when it seems like you're gliding around instead of having more rigid movements: like stopping, turning, running, etc.
As I agree with the JRPGs having much more developed story lines, and characters, and relationships with those characters, I'm kinda over the FINAL FANTASY-ish types of games. I feel they're almost like a story line coupled with digital TCGs for your characters powers and when to use them.
I guess I miss the old days where button combos, d-pad/joystick maneuverability, and actually using your gameplaying skills made playing a game better.
I haven't played the first NH, but it sounds cool. I personally don't like the repetitive sword slashing games, like the new Ninja Gaiden. Button mashing doesn't do it for me.
I for one immediately thought of a watered down tekken. They should have gone cartoon like 2D, gone like over the top comic.
Oh well.
