When I played it, I just wanted it to be over so I could take control of the character. It took 90- minutes before I could do that. Pretty normal for MGS though. It was still pretty epic though.

As i mentioned above, the video demos I have watched (that are available to anyone on youtube) have them talking directly about it and assuring us this is not the case.
This article is garbage. I have watch multiple tech demos for this game where they clearly state that "everything in the game can be completed and obtained completely free, but you have the option to pay to gain items quicker". This article is clearly trying to cause an uproar with unfounded lies.

I assure you Xbox gamers are paying no mind to sony exclusives. Not like the way Sonyboys appear to sit around thinking about xbox, and writing more articles about how elite their choice of console is. Xbox gamers are off playing their wonderful console. Exclusive or not, there are hundreds of awesome games to play on both consoles. One day I will get a PS4 and catch up on their exclusives. Just like I did with the PS3. Until then, I have more games than time to play. Keep em coming.
