A co-op mode has the potential to add a lot to the game. I mean, if having the AI companions is okay, I don't see why you can't hook up with other, player-controlled wastelanders and have a good old, VATSy time.
This is some pretty crazy stuff. One can only wonder what Activision will do to stop it. They managed to quell that MW2 leak that was similar to this one, and it didn't really appear to damage the launch...
Time will tell, I suppose?
From what I've seen, I feel like this game will remind me of the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater games. I can't wait.
For the record, I'm one of the guys in the podcast, and I was directing that comment mostly at the other guy.
I can understand where you're coming from on that, but I, for whatever reason, really enjoyed Limbo more than Braid. I liked the atmosphere more, the lack of typical platforming enemies(though I loved how Braid used them as puzzles), and the noir, black-and-white style.
Limbo IS that great. Deal with it.
It doesn't necessarily mean they'll be making another FPS, they could try another genre. But they can't make any more Halo games, as Microsoft owns the rights. Their in-house 343 Studios will be making future Halo games.
This story was actually posted and approved first.
There was non-canon DLC for The Force Unleashed that pitted you against Boba Fett on...Tattooine, I believe. I imagine, as a main character in this game, you won't be able to kill him.
Story leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Started as just a posting of screenshots, but the poster changed the title so my announcement story got reported into oblivion.
Yeah, this is really something for trophy whores who are constantly comparing themselves to their friends. Like me. :D
Though, I'll admit, I'm not sure I'm going to get it, either.
I agree, but other websites use a secure login option provided by Sony and I believe this program does the same. All the communication is directly with Sony's servers and the third party doesn't see any of the info, if I've been told correctly.
Wow, not only did I miss that, but so did everyone else who approved it. Know how I can fix that? Can't edit anything after it's been approved.
Kinect doesn't support rechargeable batteries...
It uses a fucking external power source. That's like saying a PC doesn't support rechargeable batteries and thus a laptop is better. Two totally different beasts.
That was my exact thought at the moment the new feature was announced. I find it hard to believe they didn't add this almost because of Twilight fans.
I feel like Black was definitely a solid game and I really liked it, conceptually. Feel like it had the capability to be awesome if they would have invested in a sequel.
You know there is a...game coming out after the beta right? And that this is all part of the game's marketing. The live-action short isn't going to make anyone want to play the beta that didn't already.
I really like the live-action path that devs and/or publishers have been taking recently. The Assasin's Creed II movies were pretty awesome. And way back when, Bungie did those live action spots for Halo 3 with the museum that were simply amazing.
And now Bungie's at it again and Ruffian and MSoft have the live action miniseries for Alan Wake. This is so much fun!
I had the game pre-ordered because Amazon had a coupon code the already discounted price. Figured I'd pre-order it to save the low price and if I ended up wanting it, then just get it, if not, cancel.
Well, I forgot to cancel... ^^;
That said, I am having a lot of fun with it. Hoping I can find a good person to play through co-op on realistic with. Though, by good person I don't necessarily mean good at the game, since I'm not all that great...

Piracy may not be *as* rampant on consoles as it is on PC, but it's most definitely a thriving entity that is causing quite a bit of trouble.
